Safe for Malaysian athletes to compete in Korea


KUALA LUMPUR: It’s all systems go for the national athletes gearing up for the World University Games in Gwangju, South Korea, from July 3-14.

The International University Sports Federation (FISU) medical committee have released a statement saying that the venue is safe from the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS). The deadly outbreak in South Korea has already claimed a few lives.
