BARCELONA (Reuters) - Italian great Valentino Rossi was knocked unconscious in a MotoGP crash in Spain on Sunday and was taken to hospital for precautionary checks that ruled out serious injury.
The 35-year-old Yamaha rider, nine-times a world champion in all categories, ran wide and fell heavily early in the race at the Motorland Aragon circuit.
