PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s search for a medal at the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China goes on after shooter Abdul Hadi Abdul Malek and swimmers Lim Ching Hwang and Welson Sim failed to make it past their respective qualifying rounds.
Eighteen-year-old Hadi shot a series of 94-90-92-93-93-96 for a 558 total to finish 12th out of 20 shooters in the 10m air pistol qualification at the Fangshan Shooting Hall on Monday. Only the top eight shooters qualified for the final.
