GLASGOW: Malaysia’s top singles player Siti Zalina Ahmad has lost to Saikia Nayanmoni of India 21-15 in the opening Group B match at the Kelvingrove Lawn Bowls Centre on Thursday.
The two-time Commonwealth Games champion, who won back-to-back gold medals in Manchester (2002) and Melbourne (2006) has a chance to make the knock-out stage provided she wins her remaining matches. Siti will play Carmen Anderson of Norfolk Islands next.
