KUALA LUMPUR: Three sports – athletics, swimming and road cycling – did not get the thumbs-up after the first phase of selection of athletes and officials for the Commonwealth Games in Scotland in July.
In fact, the three sports may have to re-submit scaled-down entries if the majority of their athletes fail to improve on their standard within the next few weeks.
