PETALING JAYA: Next month’s ISTAF SuperSeries Sepaktakraw Finals scheduled to be held at the Titiwangsa Stadium in Kuala Lumpur has been postponed to March.
Sepaktakraw Association of Malaysia (PSM) president Datuk Ahmad Ismail said the Finals have been rescheduled for March 5-9 and it has been endorsed by the world governing body – the International Sepaktakraw Federation (ISTAF).
Defending champions and top seeds Thailand are well on their way to retaining the men’s overall title after three legs. The Thais, who were shockingly defeated by the South Koreans in the quarter-finals in New Delhi, clawed back to emerge champions in Bangkok and in Kota Kinabalu.
Malaysia appeared in the final of all three legs this season.
The six top teams from the three legs will compete in the SuperSeries Finals in both the men’s and women’s competitions.
