YANGON: Bodybuilder Sazali Abdul Samad’s wish to present a SEA Games gold medal to his wife on their 17th wedding anniversary failed to materialise when he could only win a silver in the 70kg category.
The nine-time and reigning Mr Universe lightweight title-holder lost to Vietnam’s Nguyen Van Lam in the biggest shock result of the day at the Myanmar Convention Centre here.
