Malaysia struggle for win in takraw SuperSeries

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia got off to an unimpressive start at the ISTAF SuperSeries in Bangkok, Thailand, when they were made to slog for a 2-0 win over Japan in their opening Group B match.

Norshahruddin Md Ghani, Sahidan Mohd Ali and Mohd Syazreen Qamar Salehan, who were playing together as a combination for the first time, made hard work of their time on the sepak takraw court from the start.
