PETALING JAYA: World No. 1 Nicol David inched closer to her fifth British Open title after emphatically beating New Zealand’s Joelle King 13-11, 11-8, 11-1 in the women’s quarter-finals in Hull yesterday.
Nicol’s match with the top Kiwi player, however, did not start as planned as the organisers were forced to move the venue from the KC Stadium to the Hull and East Riding Squash Club due to inclement weather.
