MHL may implement rule change for penalty corners during knockout stages

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysia Hockey League (MHL) technical committee are mulling over a possible rule change for the knockout stage which starts on May 1.

The rule change involves the time taken by the teams when executing the penalty corner during a match. Currently, it is found that teams take more time than usual as the defenders have to put on additional safety gear each time a penalty corner is taken.
