Woods stays No. 1 after McIlroy’s failure to win Houston Open

LONDON: Tiger Woods stayed top of the world rankings on Monday following Rory McIlroy’s (pic) failure to win the Houston Open on Sunday.

The 37-year-old American returned to the top last week after an absence of two and a half years, replacing the 23-year-old Irishman, who has struggled with his game this year following a change of clubs and ball in the close season.
