PETALING JAYA: Malaysia will play against Laos in the opening match of the 39th Merdeka Tournament, which kicks off at the MBPJ Stadium in Kelana Jaya on Monday.
The national Under-23 squad under coach B. Sathianathan preparing for the Korat SEA Games in December will represent Malaysia in the 10-day tournament, which offers US$10,000 to the champions and US$5,000 to the runners-up.
