MILAN: Public prosecutors in Udine are investigating 21 footballers on charges of illegal betting and alleged match-fixing, La Gazzetta dello Sport reported yesterday.
Evidence in the probe hinging on high sums betted on the results of games played in the past two seasons is to be handed over to prosecutors at the Italian football federation, FIGC.
