Alex secures historic win in Audi sprint race series


Malaysia's Alex Yoong celebrates on the podium after securing the Audi R8 LMS Cup overall title at the Shanghai International Circuit on Saturday.

PETALING JAYA: Alex Yoong of Audi Teda Racing Team made history as the first driver to win two titles in the international sprint race series when he successfully retained the Audi R8 LMS Cup 2015 overall title at the Shanghai International Circuit in China.

Alex sealed the title by a single point ahead of China's Cheng Congfu of VW Audi Racing Team on Saturday.
