SILVERSTONE, England (Reuters) - Italian great Valentino Rossi won a rain-hit British Grand Prix to take a 12-point lead over Yamaha team mate Jorge Lorenzo on Sunday as Marc Marquez's hopes of retaining the MotoGP title all but vanished.
Pole-sitter Marquez fell on the 13th of 20 laps while running a close second, the Honda rider's crash leaving Rossi clear to take his fourth win of the season and lead an all-Italian podium with Danilo Petrucci and Andrea Dovizioso.
