SEPANG: Russian youngster Daniil Kvyat made an impressive start for his new team Red Bull, finishing a strong fourth in the second practice session at the Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix.
The 20-year-old vindicated Red Bull’s decision to promote him to a race seat by posting 1:40.346. Kvyat was 0.556 seconds behind world champion Lewis Hamilton, who topped the timesheets for Mercedes in 1:39.790.
