Early birds get half price for Malaysian GP

PETALING JAYA: Fans of Formula One have until Dec 31 to purchase tickets for the Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix on March 28-30 next year at half-price.

Sepang International Circuit (SIC) chief executive officer, Datuk Razlan Razali said on top of the discounted ticket prices, ticket holders will get free admission to the post-race concert and off-track activities during the race weekend.

“The promotion, which ends on Jan 1, are applicable to all seats except for the Diamond, Sapphire and Emerald seats. At half-price, Ruby seats at the north upper tier of the main grandstand can be purchased at only RM666 for a full three-day package. The normal price is RM1,330,” said Razlan.

While tickets for Crystal seats at the north lower tier of the main grandstand, which faces the front straight and the pit building, would be selling at RM611, Turquoise and Jade seats are offered at RM446. A Garnet seat is offered at RM336.

For seats at the south side of the main grandstand, which faces the back straight plus clear view of actions at Turn Nine, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14, fans can get the Topaz tickets at RM286 each and Citrine seats at RM171. All seats at the main grandstand tower, which gives fans a close up view of actions at the final Turn 15, are currently on offer at RM221.

Seats at K1 grandstand, which overlooks the entry of the first chicane, are presently sold at RM331. For F grandstand, which provides excellent view of actions at Turn Six, Seven and Eight as well as back view of the front straight, tickets are selling at RM141 only.

Tickets for the covered hill stand C2 are currently offered at RM81, all three other uncovered hill stands – K2, C1 and C3 are offering tickets at only RM41 for three days.
