PETALING JAYA: Former Malaysian Formula One driver Alex Yoong tightened his grip on the Audi R8 LMS Cup as he took two podium finishes in Round Nine and 10 in Shanghai.
Alex won Round Nine and finished second in the following round on Sunday to extend his lead at the top by 24 points over China’s Adderly Fong in the standings. Alex has amassed 186 points after 10 rounds. Adderly sits second on 162 points while Marchy Lee of Hong Kong is third on 146 points.
