SEPANG: Brazilian Joao Paulo Lima de Oliveira will seek to lift his third career victory at Sepang after pulling off a stunning qualifying performance in the GT500 class in the Malaysian leg of the Super GT.

The 32-year-old native of Sao Paulo earned the right for Team Impul to park their Nissan GT-R car at pole position after clocking their fastest time of 1:55.456. The second driver for the team is Tsugio Matsuda.
