NEW DELHI: A hattrick from Niklas Wellen was enough to take defending champions Germany to their sixth Junior World Cup title when they defeated France 5-2 in an exciting final at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium here on Sunday.
The French who are playing in their first major final made a fight of it but the staying power and sharper finishing of the Germans put paid to their hopes of a major upset.
