Gavin slips as European Q-School finale heads into third round


PETALING JAYA: Gavin Kyle Green recovered strongly in the closing stages to shoot an even-par 70 and keep his European Tour dream alive after the second round of the Qualifying School Final Stage in Girona, Spain.

The 21-year-old Gavin, who played on the shorter Tour Course at the PGA Catalunya Resort on Sunday, is now on three-under 139 after opening with a 69 on the par-72 Stadium Course.
