Ben lifts first PGM title of the year with Perlis Closed victory

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's pro golfer Ben Leong claimed his first Professional Golf of Malaysia (PGM) Tour title of the season with a 14-stroke victory in the RM180,000 Perlis Closed Championship at Putra Golf Club in Kangar.

In the final round, the 29-year-old from Sabah shot a third successive four-under-par 68 for a total of 15-under 273, the biggest winning margin of the campaign so far.
