NEW YORK (Reuters) - Jordan Spieth added further accolades to an already stellar campaign on Monday when he was named winner of the PGA of America player of the year award and the Vardon Trophy for the lowest scoring average.

The 22-year-old American is the second youngest to capture both awards in the same year, following Tiger Woods who was 21 when he accomplished the feat in 1997.
