PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s Daeng Abdul Rahman Daeng Abdul Aziz is on the brink of retaining his boys’ 13-14 category title at the AmBank SportExcel International Junior Golf Championships.
The 14-year-old mixed his scorecard with five birdies, one double bogey and one bogey en route to carding a two-under 70 at the Kota Permai Golf and Country Club in Shah Alam yesterday. Daeng has a two-day total of three-under 141, giving him a seven-stroke lead over second-placed Parathakorn Suyasri of Thailand going into today’s final round.
