Gavin grabs halfway lead at PGM Vascory Templer Park

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s top amateur Gavin Kyle Green has taken a giant leap towards his first-ever Asian Development Tour (ADT) title after carding an impressive eight-under 64 to take the halfway lead at the RM250,000 PGM Vascory Templer Park Championship.

The 20-year-old Gavin, who fired two eagles and six birdies against one double-bogey for a two-day total of 13-under 131 on Thursday, will head into third round with two-stroke cushion over compatriot Shaaban Hussin, who was also on fiery form after returning with the day’s lowest score of 63.
