Singapore get off to fine start at Causeway Trophy


PETALING JAYA: Singapore got off to an encouraging start after securing a 4-2 lead over Malaysia after the foursomes format on the opening day of the inaugural Prudential Causeway Trophy at the Laguna National Golf and Country Club.

In the first pairing, Malaysia’s Akhmal Tarmizee and Rashid Ismail won five holes in the back nine to halve their match against Vincent Khua and Mitchell Slorach.
