Romania end long goal drought to keep Euro hopes alive

BUCHAREST (Reuters) - Romania's Ovidiu Hoban scored in stoppage time to end their long goal drought and earn a 1-1 draw at home to Finland on Thursday, keeping alive their hopes of a place at Euro 2016.

The Romanians and Hungary, who beat the Faroe Islands 2-1, remain in contention to finish second in Group F behind Northern Ireland who defeated Greece 3-1 to reach the finals.
