Great start from Malaysian futsal team in Bangkok

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia made a flying start to the Asean Football Federation (AFF) men’s futsal tournament by whipping Brunei 9-1.

Malaysia scored through Ahmad Fawzul Hadzir (1st, 12th, 24th, 25th) while the other goals came from Muhd Fitri Yatim (11th), Syed Aizad Daniel (26th), Akmarulnizam Idris (28th), Saiful Nizam Ali (30th) and an own goal by Yamin Muhd (6th). Brunei scored their consolation goal through Faizul Jefry Zaini (9th) in the Group A match at the Bangkok Arena in Thailand on Thursday.
