(Reuters) - Sunderland manager Dick Advocaat has criticised his predecessors for wasting money on "lower than average" players, according to a report in the Sunderland Echo.
The Black Cats have spent around 22.5 million pounds in the current transfer window to bring in Sebastian Coates, Adam Matthews, Ricky Alvarez, Jeremain Lens and Younes Kaboul.
