PETALING JAYA: Pahang coach Zainal Abidin Hassan will opt for a safety-first approach in their AFC Cup quarter-final first-leg match against Tajikistan champions FC Istiklol at the Central Republican Stadium in Dushanbe.

With his players low on morale after being pipped to the Super League title by Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) on Saturday, Zainal’s game plan on Wednesday night will be just to “park the bus”.
