Coach Sathia: Foreign legion will take Forces far next season

PETALING JAYA: Armed Forces coach B. Sathianathan believes his foreign signings will make the Gladiators a force to be reckoned with in next season’s M-League.

The Super League outfit have filled up their four-player foreign quota early by signing Nigerian defender Obinna Nwaneri, Australian midfielder Mario Karlovic and Nigerian forward Abdulafees Abdulsalam. He has also secured the services of 32-year-old striker Jerry Palacios, who played for Honduras in this year’s World Cup in Brazil.
