KUALA LUMPUR: The national team’s request to play their Asean Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup tournament Group A matches on grass pitch has been shot down by hosts Singapore.
Last week, the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) had lodged a protest with organisers AFF over the Singapore FA’s (FAS) proposal to host some of the Group A matches on the artificial pitch at the Jalan Besar Stadium.
