PETALING JAYA: Malaysia got off to a dismal start in the Asian Games football competition after going down to hosts South Korea 3-0 in a Group A match at the Mun Hak Stadium.
Malaysia did well to let in only one goal at half-time following Rim Chang-woo’s headed opener in the 27th minute. But the hosts turned on the heat after the breather to score two late goals through Kim Shin-wook and Kim Seung-dae in the 78th and 81st minutes respectively in Sunday’s match.
