BARCELONA (Reuters) - A brace from David Villa in Spain's friendly against El Salvador showed that while he may have moved to the second tier of club football he can still be an important asset for the reigning World Cup holders in Brazil.
The 32-year-old announced a week ago that he would join MLS side New York City FC from La Liga champions Atletico Madrid but he demonstrated his predatory instincts with two goals as a substitute against El Salvador on Saturday.
