KOTA BARU: Defending champions Kelantan staged a late comeback to hold Armed Forces 2-2 in the Malaysia Cup semi final second leg at the Sultan Mohd IV Stadium to advance to the final 4-3 on aggregate on Friday.
The Gladiators' hitman Marlon James fired a brace in the 18th and 37th minute to put them 3-2 ahead on aggregate but The Red Warriors staged a comeback with goals from substitute Mohd Faakri Saarani in the 82nd minute and skipper Mohd Badhri Radhi (85min) to send Kelantan to the final.
The East Coast side will await the winner of the other semi-final second leg tie between Sarawak and Pahang at the Sarawak Stadium on Saturday.
The Elephants are leading 3-1 on aggregate and the final will be held at the Shah Alam Stadium on Nov 3.
