KUANTAN: All 33,000 tickets for the first leg of the Malaysia Cup semi-finals between Pahang and Sarawak at the Darul Makmur Stadium here have been sold out.
On Friday, more than 2,000 Pahang fans left the stadium empty-handed after all 7,000 tickets were snapped up moments after the counters opened at 3pm.
Pahang Football Association (PFA) match co-ordinating committee chairman Raja Mustapha Raja Jalil Shah said they would set up a giant screen outside the stadium for fans to watch the game.
He said they would not put additional tickets for sale for security reasons, saying they had learnt their lessons following the crowd invasion incident on May 28.
Then, Pahang hosted Johor Darul Takzim in the FA Cup semi-finals second-leg match. It was called off and played at neutral venue.
