(Reuters) - Swiss club Basel have been fined 30,000 euros (25,085.17 pounds) by UEFA after Greenpeace activists interrupted their Champions League match against Schalke 04 with a protest against tournament sponsors Gazprom.
European soccer's governing body said in a statement that Basel had been fined for "insufficient organisation" at the Group E game on October 1, a tie they lost 1-0.
