PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian side will be no pushovers in the AFC Under-19 qualifying tournament when they open their campaign against host China at the Pinghu Sports Centre Stadium in Jiaxing, Zhejiang, on Tuesday.
Head coach Aminuddin Hussein admitted that they have a tough draw, which includes fancied Japan and Macau.
“Whatever the situation, the matches will offer a good experience for the boys. My job is to prepare them for the future and I believe we are moving in the right direction,” said Aminuddin.
Last month, the Malaysian side failed in their bid to qualify for the semi-finals of the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Under-19 Youth championship in Surabaya.
