PETALING JAYA: Frenz United Malaysia A will have to put the shackles on Chonburi FC’s prolific goal-getter Sittichok Paso in the Asean Champions Trophy Under-15 football final first-leg match at the Chonburi FC Stadium Wednesday (8.30pm).
The Thai striker has scored 17 goals in 12 matches and played a key role in their 5-1 aggregate win over Frenz United Malaysia B in the semi-finals.
Frenz United Malaysia A will be counting on their top striker Akhmal Haikal, who starred with a four-goal blitz in their dramatic come-from-behind 5-1 win over Frenz Indonesia in extra-time in the semi-finals return-leg at the Janda Baik Stadium in Pahang last week. The teams were tied 3-3 on aggregate in regulation time. Akhmal has now scored 12 goals in 12 outings.
The second-leg of the final will be played at the Janda Baik Stadium on Sunday.
