LISBON (Reuters) - Porto clinched a 27th Portuguese Premier League title with a comfortable 2-0 away win against 10-man Pacos de Ferreira on Sunday that contrasted with the nerve-wracking title race that lasted until the final round.
Porto stayed undefeated to grab the seasons' most sought-after domestic trophy with a dramatic comeback in the last few weeks, snatching the title away from arch-rivals Benfica, who were four points ahead just three rounds ago.
