PETALING JAYA: National diver Ooi Tze Liang is happy to forgo the lucrative six-leg Diving World Series to chase a childhood dream – competing in the Olympics.
The 21-year-old diver, who made headlines last year by winning the 3m springboard individual gold medal in the Glasgow Commonwealth Games, is not losing sleep about not getting to compete in the lucrative series as his priority is to qualify early for the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics through the World Championships in Kazan, Russia, in July.
