KUALA LUMPUR: The Youth and Sports Ministry was able to save a hefty RM9mil in organisational cost for the Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) – thanks to its decision to privatise the organising of the event.

Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said the government only spent RM10mil this time compared to RM19mil last year.
