PETALING JAYA: Pint-sized Azizulhasni Awang did more than just claim a third career World Track Cycling Championships medal in Paris last week.

Bronze medallist Azizul’s ability in taking on the bigger Europeans and using his power to weight ratio to his advantage has brought renewed confidence that track cycling, especially in the keirin, can contribute an Olympic medal in Rio next year.
