PETALING JAYA: It is the end of Malaysia's campaign at the Track World Championships as cyclist Fatehah Mustapa failed in her bid to qualify for the women's keirin final.

The Incheon Asian Games silver medallist ran out of steam in her semi-final heat as the pack were negotiating the final bend at Velodrome de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines and she eventually crossed the line in fifth place.
