LA PLANCHE DES BELLES FILLES France (Reuters) - Spain's Alberto Contador pulled out of the Tour de France on Monday after crashing heavily during the 10th stage and injuring his knee.
The double Tour champion fell on the descent from Le Petit Ballon and spent several minutes being treated by race doctors, blood dripping from his right knee.
