PARIS (Reuters) - Former International Cycling Union (UCI) president Hein Verbruggen could be summoned before an independent anti-doping commission after Lance Armstrong accused him of helping him to cheat in 1999.
Disgraced cyclist Armstrong, stripped of his seven Tour de France titles for doping, alleged in an interview with the Daily Mail on Monday that Verbruggen had helped him to backdate a prescription.
