(Reuters) - England batsman James Taylor concedes it was "massively disappointing" to be left out of the squad for the ongoing tour of West Indies but the blow has been softened by news he will captain the side in a one-day match against Ireland next week.
The 25-year-old, who has played 17 ODIs, will skipper the side in the absence of World Cup captain Eoin Morgan, who is unavailable due to his commitments in India's lucrative domestic cricket league.
