SINGAPORE: Three pins. That's all Rafiq Ismail needed to snag Malaysia's 16th gold of the Singapore SEA Games.

The 18-year-old rolled lines of 246-221-235-225-192-189 for 1,308 pinfalls to snatch the gold ahead of Thailand's Annop Arromsaranon, who took the silver with 1,305 pinfalls at the Orchid Bowl in the Orchid Country Club.
