Johnathan Chan could only finish in 16th spot in the men's singles event with a 1,336 total.

PETALING JAYA: National back-up bowler Johnathan Chan needed a 263 final game to have a chance for the gold in the men’s singles competition at the Asian Tenpin Bowling Championships in Bangkok.

However, Johnathan, who was bowling in squad C, fell 60 pins short to finish 16th with a six-game total of 1,336 pinfalls – one place behind team-mate Muhd Nur Aiman Khairuddin (1343), who bowled in squad A.
