PERAI: Hosts Penang made a clean sweep of all the five gold medals in the boys’ events en route to being crowned overall champions in the National Schools Sports Council (MSSM) Under-12 Bowling Championships at Mega Lanes Perai.
Megat Zaqrul Haiqal was the toast of the squad as he won four gold medals in the boys’ Masters, doubles, team and all-events. The only gold to elude the 11-year-old SJKC Chung Hwa 3 student was in the singles event, which was won by his team-mate Muhd Hariz Adlan.
